Food and FellowshipOnce a month on a Wednesday lunchtime the Parish Centre hums with the noise of up to 65 people eating a fantastic lunch – at a remarkable cost of just £3.50

This group of people [most over 50] enjoy a lunch together and hear a talk of interest.  Recently we have been looking at ‘This is your life’ – stories of how lives have been lived with God’s help.  Other speakers have included people form Age Concern, the Donkey Sanctuary and a Christian worker from the West End. 

The new programme will be published here when it is available but if you would like to book a place the please call the Parish reception on 01227 366640 between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Next three dates: August 4th, September 1st  and October 6th – please book a week in advance of these dates.

Information for schools and about what we do with schools

We love it when schools or pre-schools visit the church.  We have special services for harvest, Christmas and other special events.  We also do tours of the churches for those who want.  We have sought to meet some of the requirements of the national curriculum.  A member of staff seeks to be available for all these opportunities so if as a school you would like to see what we could offer please ring Anthony on 01227 374906.

Support and pastoral care

As a church family we seek to care for all in our congregation and those in our community who ask for help.  We have a Pastoral Care Team of trained people who are willing to visit and offer help and encouragement.  We also recognise that some people need some extra help and support and so the staff team are available should this be necessary.  We also have prayer ministry at all our communion services and have a prayer chain where people can pray for specific situations.   If you would like support or pastoral care please phone 01227 749762 and leave a message for Anthony.
