Sunday Junior Church groups

Young people are not the church of tomorrow there are an important part of the church of today and so each Sunday we have special activities for young people and children.  The leaders and teachers are all well trained and CRB checked.  Each church has its own arrangements. A group of young people and children that is growing and we would welcome new children at 9.30am each Sunday.  Please contact Sara Tomlin for more information on 01227 372924. 

At Christ Church we have a number of groups at 10.30am each Sunday which cover the ages of 0-15:

• Crèche for the under 3’s meets in the bright and cheery North Room with a time to play and a simple Bible story. 
• Jungle Explorers is the next age group up and uses excellent material to teach the Bible stories at an age appropriate level.  With great craft activities and games. 
• Space Explorers covers the older junior school ages and allows the children to grow in their understanding.  The groups has action games, craft, word searches and the like to make learning about God an exciting time. 
• Pathfinders covers the early years of secondary school and is run by our children’s and youth worker.   The group uses modern technology and older material to develop an understanding of who Jesus is and why he had to come to earth.  The group members can also attend Ignite and can take part in drama and the like.
