Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain enables important or urgent items to be brought to the attention of many in the Church family who have committed to praying during the week, whenever a situation happens. It may be someone having an accident or sickness which needs prayer, or for a situation which occurs or a person. Whatever the reason, there are a number of people in each prayer chain who contact the next one and this gets alot of people praying very quickly. And we know prayer makes a differenence because God hears our prayers and answers according to his will.

Praying in the Church family Print E-mail

Christ Church & St Andrew's seeks to be a church family which prays for people and situations.

If you want something or someone prayed for urgently please ring Ruth Havell [368411], and she will make sure the prayer chains we run are activated. Any issue/person can be prayed for.

What is a Prayer Chain ?

It is very a simple concept - we have a number of members of the church who agree to be on a list, or 'chain': Ruth Havell receives a prayer request and then calls the top members of each chain to inform them of the prayer request. They in turn contact the next in line on their chain, and so on. In this way a phone call, a text, or a message left passes the prayer request across many church members this way in just a few hours. It is a great way to quickly mobilise God's people to pray about an something or someone, and by doing so, sharing in the hurts and joys of brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you are not on a Prayer Chain and would like to be, please contact the office.
